The Claw

First and foremost, Easter was fantastic! We had a nice relaxing dinner at the Taylor house, enjoyed an egg hunt and ate lots of candy. Owen scored in the egg hunt. He found the one with 20 bucks in it! Lucky little bug. We snapped a few pics and video tapped a bit....we will spare you the 30 minutes of video and just give you our word, it was FANTASTIC!

Now, onto The Claw. A brief history of how this all started....Brett one day remembered (when I was about 4 months pregnant with Owen, mind you) that Muscle Men were a really popular 25 cent action figure toy in the 80's. You know the kind that you put a quarter into the slot and out pops a little plastic ball filled with a random toy? Anyways, he seemed to think it was all he played with as a boy...so he wanted to share that joy with our son. What does he do? Yep. He buys almost 200 of them on eBay. He enjoyed them for a few days and then they all ended up in a Ziploc bag to wait years before Owen could play with them.

Well, we decided to open up a can of brand new unused muscled men for Owen a few weeks ago. Does he love them? You bet he does. He actually really only loves one....The Claw. That is this special Muscle Man's real official name. It is a collectible, in fact. Its almost like Owen knows it's a special one. He carries it around the house and I'm always finding it in new little hiding places. He even had to go find him and bring him into the bath the other night. I always knew he would become attached to a little lovey someday, but I never saw The Claw coming...
